MetaMetals works with various shipping service providers to ensure the safest possible transportation of precious metals to our customers.
Shipping service provider
We use the Austrian postal service (“Österreichische Post”) as our standard shipping company. The parcels from this shipping service are insured up to € 500.
If the Austrian Post insurance threshold is exceeded (goods value over € 500), we recommend selecting the shipping service provider "GoRocket" at check-out. GoRocket specializes in shipping valuable items such as precious metals, jewelry and luxury watches and has decades of experience.
Insurance of shipped orders
All of our shipped packages are insured for the safety of both MetaMetals and the customer. As mentioned above, please make sure to select either “Österreichische Post” or GoRocket at checkout depending on the value of the goods.
Shipping time
We ship the ordered precious metals from Austria (European Union). The closer the destination country is to Austria, the faster the order reaches our customers. Within the European Union (EU), the transportation time from dispatch is usually between 2 and 7 working days. Orders outside the EU are usually delivered to you within 14 days of dispatch.
Important! Please note that some precious metals are produced exclusively for you after ordering. The complex production process can take several weeks and sometimes up to 4-6 weeks.

Minimum order value
There is no minimum order value at MetaMetals.
Shipping costs
The amount of the costs depends on the selected shipping service provider, the value, weight and size and will be displayed during the ordering process.
Customs duties
Please note that in some countries outside the European Union, customs duties and/or import sales taxes may apply.
