Where a piece is made in collaboration, like it is done for jewelry sold on our website, it is credited to a named person, in a named place, with a way for you to check. Our partners run their own businesses, work in their own workshops and process MetaMetals supplied materials.
Our philosophy at MetaMetals is to offer our partners the best plattform to show their work, besides their own workshops and pages. It's important to us, that also our customers get an insight about the people who craft the pieces. Each of the pages below belongs to the person it is about. It shows their work, their location and their own business alongside the pieces we have made together. Credit for those pieces is shared, and a customer ought to be able to see whose hands were on the object.

Every necklace, ring, pendant and watch dial that carries a MetaMetals certificate passed through one of the workshops below. Our partners also process our supplied materials in their workshops for their customers. A MetaMetals certificate travels with the finished piece, confirming minimum purity and weight of our supplied material. More on how we certify metal.
Materials like crystallized osmium, pressed rhodium or iridium are different to work with than others. It takes experience, precision, skill and the right vision to create a great jewellery product with them.
Maximilian James
Builds wristwatches with dials of unalloyed osmium, ruthenium, tantalum, gold, silver and copper. Each one is hand-ground in his workshop in Murnau am Staffelsee.

Anna-Elisa Pejrimovsky
Designs and builds the settings that hold osmium crystals and bar pendants. Most of the necklaces offered in our shop are made in her Vienna workshop with meticulous care.

The same three stages apply whether the finished object is a necklace, a ring or a watch dial.
Produced and certified
MetaMetals produces the metal and documents it — purity, weight and a serial number, recorded on a digitally signed PDF certificate of authenticity before anything leaves us.
Crafting the jewelry
The custom piece is then manufactured with our supplied materials playing a great role. Cut crystallized osmium, small rhodium, iridium bars or watch dials — our partners form it to something beautiful to wear.
Delivery or shop
The final piece is then sent to the customer or placed in our shop. Customized pieces will be sent directly via insured shipping or our partner's preferred methods.

Builds the three-dimensional models behind the MetaMetals Pro designs — rendering osmium's crystalline structure and the geometry of a bar or ingot accurately enough that the digital object matches the physical one it represents. Getting the light behaviour of a platinum-group metal right in a renderer is its own discipline, and most stock material gets it wrong.
