About the Rhodium Edge
Rhodium is almost never worn as jewelry. It is the most reflective of all metals — brighter than platinum or white gold — but it is also extraordinarily hard, with a very high melting point, which makes it nearly impossible to work with conventional goldsmithing techniques. Most "rhodium" jewelry is in fact silver or gold finished with a microscopically thin rhodium plating. The Rhodium Edge is different: the bar at its centre is solid rhodium.
To make this possible, the rhodium is supplied as a sintered bar — formed from rhodium powder under heat and pressure rather than cast, and then mirror polished to get its beautiful reflective surface. Afterwards it is set into a precious metal setting, according to the customer's wish. The result is a clean, architectural pendant with a mirror-bright face that does not tarnish and never needs re-plating, because the brilliance is a property of the metal itself, not a coating that wears away.

Every Rhodium Edge is handcrafted to order in Vienna. Production takes 6–8 weeks from order confirmation, and custom requests are discussed with you individually before work begins.
Shipping
Once complete, your necklace ships fully insured, worldwide. Within the EU, no customs duty applies — only VAT, charged at the rate of your destination country.
These are billed separately by the carrier on delivery and are not included in our price for insured shipping. Carriers will also charge additional fees for handling the customs process. Because each piece is handcrafted specifically for you, returns are only accepted in case of manufacturing defects. Every necklace undergoes quality inspection before shipping. If you receive a defective piece, please contact us within 14 days.

Each Rhodium Edge is made individually by goldsmith Anna-Elisa Pejrimovsky at her Goldschmiedemanufaktur in Vienna's 1st district (Färbergasse 10/11, 1010 Vienna). She works with platinum-group metals, gold, platinum, and silver, and develops these Edge designs.
Because every piece is handcrafted to order, specific wishes can be considered, like chain length, fit, and the character of the finished necklace.
