About the Osmium Orbit
At the centre of an Osmium Orbit sits a hand-selected osmium crystal, held by a bypass tension setting. Two curved bands of gold that wrap around the stone and hold it purely by pressure, without prongs or a bezel. The result is an almost floating look: Modern geometry built around a rare material.
Osmium is the densest naturally occurring element and among the rarest of the precious metals. Read more about the metal itself on our osmium information page. In its crystalline form it carries a distinctive blue-silver shimmer and a surface structure that is never repeated — a natural fingerprint unique to each crystal, shaped by how the crystals are grown. Every crystal is unique, so no two Osmium Orbit rings are exactly alike.
Each piece is handcrafted in Austria in collaboration with our partner goldsmiths and the crystallized osmium is certified at 99.995%. Customisation is available on request — white, yellow or rose gold, and specific crystal or ring sizes.
Crystallized osmium is certified at 99.995% purity. Each ring is accompanied by a digitally signed Certificate of Authenticity for permanent proof for the specs of the used osmium crystal.

Shipping
Orders are dispatched with insured shipping. In-stock pieces typically arrive within 7–14 working days; jewelry made on demand takes around 6–8 weeks before shipping, worldwide. Within the EU, no customs duty applies — only VAT, charged at the rate of your destination country.
These are billed separately by the carrier on delivery and are not included in our price for insured shipping. Carriers will also charge additional fees for handling the customs process. Returns & Exchanges
EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on in-stock jewelry. This does not apply to customers outside the EU or to jewelry made on demand. Every ring undergoes quality inspection before shipping. If you receive a defective piece, please contact us within 14 days so we can arrange a return or exchange.

Elvira Fleischanderl
Elvira and her team work with gold and other rare platinum-group metals. They develop the Orbit settings in collaboration with MetaMetals. Each osmium crystal is set by hand and the bypass tension band is individually forged around it, so the finished ring holds the crystal purely by pressure. Because every piece is handcrafted, customisation is available on request.

Osmium is a precious metal, not a gemstone. It's crystallized in a challenging process over a long time. Only a fraction of the result can be wire-cut and used for jewelry. Osmium crystals have a fine natural surface structure and a characteristic bluish shimmer. It's one of the rarest metals on earth, and because each crystal grows individually, no two are identical. Yes. The Orbit is handcrafted to order and available in 14k yellow, white, or rose gold. The stocked size is EU 52, but custom ring sizes and crystal sizes can be made on request — simply choose during the free consultation with the goldsmith before production begins.
